Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward becomes real on consoles

Procedurally generated survival horror available now to download on PlayStation and Xbox platforms
If movies like The Conjuring series have taught us anything, it's that malevolent supernatural forces can be imbued in items as well as possessing people. Console owners can see that for themselves first-hand in Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward, the newly released procedurally generated survival horror by two-man Polish developer NC Studio.
It's 1982, and the scientists of Project Nightmares, who devote themselves to the study of paranormal phenomena, have invented a machine called Hypnose. This device allows them to "induce telepathically gifted patients into a dream state, and connect their minds to a cursed ... object, allowing them to investigate their history and put a stop to the evil they embody." You are one such psychically endowed patient, and your first assignment is a "mysterious doll with a strong malignant energy" that will connect you to Henrietta Kedward, a nasty old recluse with a dark past about which little is known. In order to clear out the doll's wicked energy, you must venture into a nightmare "set during her lifetime, surrounded by terror and mystery," where the "evil entity will find many ways to kill you."
Case 36 is intended to be just the first installment of an ongoing horror series presented in free-roaming, first-person 3D. Armed only with a candle to illuminate the many haunting images you encounter, you'll need to elude your deadly opponent to survive, solving "complex puzzles" as you seek out clues that reveal more about Henrietta's life along the way. Complicating matters is that various elements are procedurally generated so that "you'll never know what's going to happen next, even on multiple playthroughs as the game constantly shifts." To understand the surreal dream logic, you'll need to pay close attention to your environment in what is meant to be a "long and difficult game ... full of challenges and scares for lovers of the horror genre."
If you've got a PlayStation or Xbox console, you can dive into this living nightmare right away, as Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward is available now to download exclusively for those platforms.
