Demo also available for first-person 3D supernatural horror adventure based on a true story

In 2021, Lexip Games chilled players with an eerie haunted house thriller called Silence Channel. For an encore, the indie Swedish developer is tapping into another true story in the newly released Silence Channel 2.

Players once again control a man named John Martin, though in the first game he was an investigative reporter, and here's a police officer in the wrong place at the wrong time. A terrified woman named Susan places a desperate emergency call to local law enforcement, claiming to have witnessed "strange and supernatural events in her house," including a pair of eyes staring at her in the dark. Being the nearest patrolman, Martin is dispatched to investigate and quickly comes to realize that this is no ordinary break-in, and solving it will be no ordinary case. To uncover the truth, you will need to gather clues and evidence over the course of four different seasons, each of which reveals an important new piece of the puzzle. The success of your investigation will determine whether you get the "main ending" or instead an alternate interpretation of the story, but it'll take everything in your power just to live long enough to get there.

As with its predecessor, Silence Channel 2 is a free-roaming, first-person 3D adventure that gets more and more horrifying the farther you proceed. There will be plenty of objects to find and puzzles to solve along the way, but you're not alone in this place, as there are "strange unknown entities lurking in the environment trying to hunt you down." Certain elements of the game are randomly generated, so to survive you must be stealthy, hide from your enemies when necessary, and sometimes even fight them off. Fortunately you're armed with a camera that can record the "movement cycle of the creatures in the dark," letting you plan your strategy accordingly. You'll also want to be on the lookout for "special clocks" linked to hidden achievements, and "the higher the difficulty setting you play, the more hidden item achievements you may discover."

'Tis the season for Silence Channel 2 to begin, as the game is now available on Steam for Windows PC, along with a playable demo if you'd like to try before you buy.
