The next Steam gaming extravaganza is upon us, which means more demos, livestreams and developer chats than you can shake a pointer at. And there's only one week to soak it all in, so we're here to help! Instead of spending all your time poring through the games yourself, below is a list of as many adventure game demos as we could find (plus a few new ones that aren't part of the festival for good measure, just because you can never have too much great adventuring). Some of these will be available only until June 26th, so have it, and have fun! (And do check back in later, as more games will be added to the list as they become available.)

Akolyta

After a successful raid led by detectives Marshall Prime and Benjamin Black, the city of Gorenwille saw a drop in crime of over 80%. But when a new series of murders begins to ravage the city, Marshall gets a tip from an informant that leads him to a top secret CIA memorandum about the operation to transition former scientists from the Third Reich to the US. One name stood out among others: Dr. Maximilian Vogel.

Cat’s Request

The alien cat Ash is a repairman for old robots that have almost been replaced by modern androids. Together with his virtual assistant, the cat lives on the roof of a house in a poor area. From the news bulletin, they learn that because of a virus, all virtual assistants that do not have bodies are now considered dangerous malware. The cat decides to find a body for his assistant, and gradually the two of them plunge deeper into the secrets of the city.
