Happy Hotspot Holidays 2023 – A Developer Season’s Greetings Video

There are a lot of great festive holiday traditions: trimming the tree, singing carols, rewatching It’s a Wonderful Life for the billionth time on TV, pretending to “accidentally” stand under the mistletoe, drinking too much spiked eggnog and regretting it afterward… (This has taken a turn; I should probably quit while I'm ahead.)

Another fun tradition of the season (besides replaying the Christmas Quest trilogy, of course!) is gathering together a video collection of season’s greetings. But all good things come to an end, so after more than a decade of doing so (dating back even before Adventure Game Hotspot), this year's will be the LAST of its kind for the foreseeable future. So let's finish things off with a bang, as it's my pleasure to once again present another year’s worth of personal messages from all manner of adventure developers, from genre legends to solo indies and everything in between, many of them with top new games released in the last calendar year.

To these I add my own Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or joyous [fill in the blank] for whatever you may celebrate at this time of year. It’s not the occasion – if any at all – that counts so much as the spirit of peace, love, caring and goodwill that comes with it.

As we get set to close out the year, best wishes to you all from everyone here at the Adventure Game Hotspot. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us. Know that you're appreciated, and we’ll see you all in 2024!
